Job summary

Bureau Veritas India Pvt Ltd is seeking an Electrical Engineer to perform QA/QC inspections and audits on electrical projects. The role includes on-site supervision, training for juniors, and preparing progress and field inspection reports as per client requirements.

The candidate will review QAPs, ensure compliance with codes and standards, and supervise construction activities at sites while maintaining safety and quality. Relevant QA/QC knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• General: Graduate Engineer BE/ B.Tech (Electrical) with min. 3 to 5 years or Diploma with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Technical: Knowledge of QA/QC will be preferred.
• Skills & Qualities: Good communication skills verbal, writing and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC inspections and audits on electrical projects as per QAP and standards.
• Conduct on-site supervision and training for juniors; prepare progress, field inspection and NC reports.
• Review QAP and Quality Manual; ensure adherence to codes and standards and close gaps identified in reports.
• Monitor safety compliance and supervise electrical construction/installation activities at site.

Job description

Electrical Engineer Purpose of Position

The job incumbent is responsible for performing QAQC inspections, audits, supervision as per QAP, approved procedure, standards, etc., Carries out some tasks independently, with minimum supervision, and these may be on well identified or isolated assets.

Major Responsibilities

Third Party Inspection or QA/QC of Electrical Projects on a continuous basis Conducting on-site training for juniors, Preparing progress report, field inspection report, NCs, etc based on client’s requirement. Follow up the above reports and close the gaps mentioned in the reports Adherence to Codes and Standards (Knowledge of Codes and Standards), Inspection, supervision of construction activities as per client requirement Review of QAP & Quality Manual Supervise electrical construction and installation activities at site. Monitor project progress, quality, and safety compliance for electrical activities.

Roles & Responsibilities for HSE

HSSE - Responsible for compliances of all applicable statutory laws and regulations as well as Group HSSE policies and procedures etc. in relation to Health, security, safety and environment and workmen employment. Responsible for establishing, implementing, monitoring and reviewing the HSSE Management System (in line with ISO14001:2015 & ISO 45001 standards) within his/ her Region/Location/Team. Responsible to take reasonable care on health and safety of their own, colleagues and others working surroundings. Responsible to report promptly to immediate superior on any abnormalities and incidents found related to Health, Security, Safety and Environment Quality - To comply company Quality requirements e.g. policies, procedures, guidelines etc. and local legal requirements on Quality as applicable. Support to Customer Satisfaction and Operational Excellence. Setup smart (Specific Measurable, Achievable, Relevant & Time Bound) Quality Objectives for himself and for Team in Success factor as applicable in area of Operation. Responsible to report promptly to immediate superior and TIQ on any abnormalities and incidents found related to Quality.

Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)

On-time delivery of Reports Client relationship – Retention and Growth. Compliance of internal and external guidelines, policies, procedures. Internal and external customer service satisfaction (e.g. number of complaints) To adhere Group HSE Guidelines.

Qualification and Experience
