Job summary

Sitaram Bhartia Institute seeks an Electrical Engineer – Maintenance and Engineering in New Delhi. The role focuses on planning routine and critical operations, ensuring non-medical equipment uptime, and maintaining compliance with DPCC, Fire and Electrical licenses.

The candidate should have B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, fire safety certification, computer literacy, and strong communication skills, with 5–6 years of hospital engineering experience.

Qualifications

• B.Tech – Electrical Engineering is required.
• Fire safety certification is preferred.
• Computer literacy is expected.
• Very good communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• To make department plan for routine functions and critical situations.
• Ensure all non-medical equipment are operational.
• Ensure compliance with norms issued by Govt. agencies like DPCC, Fire, Electrical and other licenses.
• To create renovation / repair/ new projects plans.
• To plan and implement patient and facility safety best practices in general and also with respect to disaster management perspective.
• To assist in implementing energy saving measure in Institute premises.
• To supervise inventory control of spares and equipment.
• Ensure adherence to NABH norms and standards.
