Job summary

9E Global invites qualified graduates in Electrical Engineering for roles in project development and engineering consultancy. The position involves client liaison, QA/CDM compliance, and coordinating with design teams on medium to large projects.

Candidates with a Masters or Chartered Engineer status will have an advantage, and prior exposure to Middle East projects is highly preferred. You will operate under project engineers on structural setups and contribute to bid and execution phases.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree is required or equivalent.
• 4–5 years of experience in engineering consultancy firms.
• Masters or Chartered Engineer status is a plus; Middle East experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be an Engineer on projects, reporting to Associate or SE, or Project Engineer on smaller projects.
• Understand fees and scope of services and program.
• Attend team and site meetings; liaise with design team and contractors.
• Maintain office filing system and project correspondence; QA/CDM compliance.
• Develop and review calculations, specifications, and reports; coordinate with architects/services engineers.

• Be familiar with agreedfees/scope of services/programme.
• Attend team/sitemeetings.
• Liase and correspond day today with design team/contractor.
• Supervise office filingsystem set-up.
• Receive all projectcorrespondence.
• Implement project QA policyand CDM requirements.
• Responsible for setting-upand maintaining job filing system to office standard.
• Attend team/job meetings todiscuss progress/deadlines/detail design issues.

CompanyRole

• Begin to take part in thedevelopment of company procedures (task groups etc).
• Review and comment on companyprocedures documents using the feedback system.
• Attend team meetingsproviding feedback on your/company development where possible.
• Applying policies relating tohealth & safety, quality and training
• Produce calculation index/specification list/information required schedule.
• Responsible for developmentand production of calculations/specification/reports.
• Reviewcalculations from Graduate Engineers.
• Familiar witharchitects/service engineers/etc. drawings, specification.
• Development of details.

• Co-ordination witharchitect/service engineer information.

QHSE Responsibilities

• Understand, implement andfollow 9E QHSE policies.
• Implement and coordinate QHSEprocedures in your workplace.
• Comply with local regulatoryauthority guidelines and laws pertaining to QHSE.
• Report any QHSE incidentsimmediately to 9E QHSE Dept. and to legal authorities if required.
