Job summary

9E Global Engineering Consultants LLC seeks a qualified engineer in Electrical Engineering with 4-5 years of experience in engineering consultancy. A Masters or Chartered status is a plus and Middle East project experience is highly preferred.

The role involves acting as an Engineer on projects, coordinating with design teams, attending site meetings, and ensuring QA and CDM compliance while maintaining project documentation and filing systems.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Engineer on projects reporting to Associate or SE; may act as Project Engineer on small/less complex projects.
• Be familiar with agreed fees, scope of services and programme.
• Attend team/site meetings and liaise with design team and contractor.
• Supervise office filing system setup and receive all project correspondence.
• Implement project QA policy and CDM requirements and maintain filing systems.
• Coordinate with architects/service engineers and other disciplines on drawings and specs.
• Contribute to development and production of calculations/specifications/reports.
• Review calculations from Graduate Engineers and ensure alignment with project requirements.

• Responsible for setting-upand maintaining job filing system to office standard.
• Attend team/job meetings todiscuss progress/deadlines/detail design issues.

CompanyRole

• Begin to take part in thedevelopment of company procedures (task groups etc).
• Review and comment on companyprocedures documents using the feedback system.
• Attend team meetingsproviding feedback on your/company development where possible.
• Applying policies relating tohealth & safety, quality and training
• Produce calculation index/specification list/information required schedule.
• Responsible for developmentand production of calculations/specification/reports.
• Reviewcalculations from Graduate Engineers.
• Familiar witharchitects/service engineers/etc. drawings, specification.
• Development of details.
• Production of calculations.
• Co-ordination witharchitect/service engineer information.

QHSE Responsibilities

• Understand, implement andfollow 9E QHSE policies.
• Implement and coordinate QHSEprocedures in your workplace.
• Comply with local regulatoryauthority guidelines and laws pertaining to QHSE.
• Report any QHSE incidentsimmediately to 9E QHSE Dept. and to legal authorities if required.
