Job summary

Infozeb Consultancy Private Limited in Gurugram invites an Electrical Engineer to design, test, commission EV chargers and BESS systems. The role focuses on electrical design, development, and troubleshooting within a multidisciplinary team.

You will work on AC/DC power systems, power electronics, schematics, BOMs, and practical testing, with opportunities to contribute across design, testing, and installation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and power electronics.
• Good understanding of AC and DC power systems.
• Hands-on experience with EV chargers, BESS, UPS, solar inverters, power supplies, or industrial electrical systems.
• Good understanding of electrical protection and switching devices.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester, oscilloscope, and power analyzer.
• Basic understanding of CAN, RS485, Modbus, Ethernet, and other communication interfaces.
• Knowledge of PCB/electronic systems is an added advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• EV charging or BESS experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for AC/DC EV Chargers and BESS systems.
• Prepare and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and system architecture.
• Select contactors, relays, MCB/MCCB, fuses, SPD, EMI filters, sensors, connectors, and power supplies.
• Work with AC/DC power systems, rectifiers, DC/DC converters, inverters, SMPS, and power electronics.
• Perform electrical calculations for voltage, current, power, cable sizing, protection, and component ratings.
• Develop and troubleshoot electrical control and power circuits.
• Support hardware and PCB development by reviewing electrical interfaces.
• Perform prototype testing, validation, debugging, and failure analysis.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic system issues.
• Work with firmware, electronics, mechanical, manufacturing, and service teams.
• Support installation and commissioning of EV chargers and BESS systems.
• Prepare BOMs, test reports, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation.
• Identify improvements for system performance, safety, reliability, and cost.
