Job summary

Siemens in Chennai invites an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our global team. You will contribute to the design of Low Voltage and Medium Voltage switchgear, with 3–5 years of relevant experience and strong electrical domain knowledge.

Proficiency with ECAD tools such as Zuken E3 ECAD, Promis.e and AutoCAD is preferred. You will interpret ANSI/NEMA/UL/IEC standards for LV manufacturing and help deliver reliable electrical solutions.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in design of Low Voltage or Medium Voltage switchgear.
• Good electrical domain knowledge with experience in design of LV/MV switchgear and components.
• Knowledge of Air Circuit Breakers/Relays and other electrical components.
• Ability to interpret ANSI/NEMA/UL/IEC standards for LV in manufacturing.

• Knowledge about Air Circuit Breakers/Relays and other electrical components.
• Ability to interpret ANSI/NEMA/UL/IEC Standards related to Low Voltage in manufacturing process.
• Expertise in Zuken E3 ECAD Applications.
• Expertise in Promis.e and AUTO CAD will be an Added advantage.
