We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to design and deliver innovative, elegant, and sustainable engineering solutions for large‑scale construction projects in the USA, while working in an international, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed electrical engineering building services design and validate results using hand calculations.
• Prepare technical specifications and schedules.
• Contribute to design development reports.
• Plan and manage design production, engaging with the group’s BIM strategy.
• Add value by extending design thinking beyond core discipline boundaries.
• Mentor and assist graduate engineers.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in building services design engineering.
• Broad design knowledge from concept to tender across diverse projects using international codes.
• Experience in an Electrical Engineer role on large projects.
• Familiar with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC, IPC, NFPA, IEC, IS, ACI codes and related standards.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to quickly learn new analysis packages.
• Digital engineering experience (e.g., coding) is advantageous but not essential.
• Bachelor’s degree (BEng) or Master’s degree (MEng) in a relevant discipline.
• Proficiency with software such as HAP, IES, Revit, Dialux, Amtech, and BIM platforms.
