Job summary

Delta Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. in Bengaluru seeks an EE Testing Engineer to assemble, solder and perform basic functional tests on various electronic PWBs, and to prepare cables and connectors for high-power converter systems.

The role includes assisting the technical team in testing MW level AC-DC, DC-DC converters and B2B testing under guidance. The candidate should have ITI in Electrical & Electronics or a B.Tech in EEE/EE, with 1–4 years of relevant experience and familiarity with power

Qualifications

• ITI or B.Tech in electrical engineering is required.
• 1–4 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of 3-phase and 1-phase power supply networks.
• Experience with soldering of through-hole and SMD components.
• Familiarity with high-power converter testing and B2B testing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble PCBs, solder components and perform basic functional tests.
• Prepare cables, crimping and wiring for high-power converters.
• Assist senior engineer in testing PWBs, DC-DC and AC-DC converter cabinets.
• Use test equipment to verify power quality and electrical performance.
• Support certification testing including EMI/EMC tests.

Job description

EE Testing Engineer will be responsible in assembly of soldering, assembling and performing basic functional tests on various electronic PWBs and also responsible in cable preparation, assembling and testing of various high power electrical equipment under the guidance of technical engineer.

Necessary Skills/Abilities:

• Understanding of utility power supply network of both 3-phase and 1-phase systems.
• Capable to do soldering of both leaded and SMD components.
• Capable of preparing cables, crimping, lugging and doing relevant electrical connections for high power converter systems.
• Capable of assisting the technical engineer in basic and functional testing of various electronic PWBs, MW level AC-DC, DC-DC converter cabinet testing, B2B testing of high-power converters.
• Experience to use and assist the technical engineer in various power quality meters, power analyzers, CTs, PTs and relevant electrical equipment in high power domain for basic and functionality testing.
• More preferred if the candidate has relevant experience in certification related testing of high-power converters including environmental chamber testing, RE chamber, EMI/EMC related testing.
