Job summary

Aptiv in Bengaluru invites an Advanced Software Engineer specializing in Autosar BCM to design and develop automotive software for active safety and connectivity. You will work on CAN/LIN/Ethernet stacks, MCAL/BSW modules, and toolchains on 16/32-bit MCUs from Renesas, ST, and Infineon.

The role requires hands-on use of CANalyzer, CANoe, Lauterbach, and Trace32, plus collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet ASPICE and ISO 26262 standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in BCM/Gateway domain and automotive communication stacks.
• Hands-on experience with CAN/LIN/Ethernet and automotive protocols.
• Embedded C development for 16/32-bit MCUs (Renesas, ST, Infineon).
• Experience with Autosar workflows and MCAL/BSW modules.
• Familiarity with verification tools and static analysis/unit testing.
• Aware of ASPICE and ISO 26262 processes.
• Strong communication and team collaboration in cross-cultural environments.

Your Background: Rquired Technical Skiils :

Understanding of BCM/Gateway domain Experience in communication stack configuration and design (CAN, LIN, Ethernet). Experience in Microcontrollers, MCAL, IOHAL, Memory, complex drivers and BSW modules. Experience in Autosar methodologies and workflows. Experience in embedded SW development using C for 16/32-bit micros – Renesas, ST, Infineon, etc. Experience in cross compilers, debuggers/emulators. Hands on experience in CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Power Mode, UDS, Diagnostics, Bootloader, communication protocols – CAN/LIN & Hands on tools like CANalyzer, CANoe, Debuggers like E1, Lauterbach, Trace32 Experience in Verification tools- Static analysis tools, Unit Testing tools Experience in tools like GIT, Polarion, Jira and Agile process. Experience in handling measurement tools like Oscilloscope, Current probe,Signal generators etc. Exposure to Automotive standard processes-ASPICE Functional safety ISO 26262 overview Good Communication Skills Good Team player and motivated to work in cross cultural environment
