Job summary

Integrated Personnel Services Limited is seeking an Electrical Draftsman / Electrical Designer in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. 2-3 years of experience and a Diploma/ITI in Electrical are required to prepare electrical drawings for substation and switchyard projects using AutoCAD.

Responsibilities include developing SLDs and layouts, cable routing, earthing and lighting layouts, and coordinating with engineers. Prior substation experience is preferred and drawings must adhere to project specs.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in electrical drafting/design.
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or ITI Electrical is required.
• Substation/switchyard project experience is preferred.

• Prepare electrical drawings for substation and switchyard projects.
• Develop SLD, electrical layouts, cable routing and equipment layout drawings.
• Prepare earthing, lightning protection and lighting layouts.
• Prepare cable schedules and other electrical design documents.
• Read and interpret GA drawings, SLDs and engineering drawings.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers and other disciplines for drawing updates.
• Revise drawings per site requirements and client comments.
• Ensure drawings meet project specifications and standards.
• Maintain drawing records and revisions.
