Job summary

CLF Projects Pvt. Ltd. in India seeks an experienced Electrical Design Engineer for OHE/PSI/GS railway systems to design, review, and modify electrical drawings and calculations. You will coordinate with project teams and ensure compliance with Indian Railways standards.

Responsibilities include preparing SLDs, wiring layouts, BOQ, and supporting installation and testing activities.

Qualifications

• Experience with Railway OHE, PSI and GS systems.
• Ability to prepare SLDs, wiring diagrams, and layouts.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and interpreting technical drawings.
• Knowledge of Indian Railways standards (RDSO) preferred.
• Excellent coordination with multiple engineering teams.

Electrical Design Engineer OHE / PSI / GS

We are looking for a Design Engineer Electrical with experience in Railway OHE, PSI and GS systems. The candidate will be responsible for electrical design, preparation and modification of engineering drawings, design calculations, technical documentation and coordination with project/site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review OHE, PSI and GS electrical design drawings for railway projects.
• Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD), schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams and layout drawings.
• Develop and modify OHE/PSI/GS drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare electrical layouts, cable schedules, termination schedules and equipment layouts.
• Perform electrical load calculations, cable sizing and equipment sizing.
• Prepare BOQ, MTO and material specifications.
• Review engineering drawings and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate with OHE, PSI, GS, Civil, S&T and other engineering teams.
• Coordinate with site teams to resolve design-related issues during execution.
• Review and incorporate site changes / as-built drawings.
• Prepare technical documents and submit drawings for internal/client approval.
• Review vendor drawings and technical documents.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable Indian Railways / RDSO / project standards and specifications.
• Maintain proper drawing revisions and project documentation.
• Support project teams during installation, testing and commissioning activities.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Railway OHE, PSI & GS systems.
• Good knowledge of electrical design and railway electrical systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of SLD, schematic, wiring and layout drawings.
• Knowledge of cable sizing, load calculation and electrical equipment selection.
• Understanding of OHE/PSI/GS equipment and associated electrical systems.
• Knowledge of RDSO and Indian Railway standards will be preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
