Job summary

Novimeq Automation in India is seeking an experienced EPLAN engineer to design electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for industrial automation projects. You will develop project structures, BOMs, and PLC overview sheets, collaborating with mechanical and control teams to ensure designs meet specifications.

You should have strong basics in electrical engineering, hands-on EPLAN experience, and familiarity with macros, symbols, templates, and forms in EPLAN.

Qualifications

• Good understanding on basics of electrical engineering.
• Control Panel Engineering- selection of component for control panel.
• Good experience on EPLAN.
• Understanding of Macro, Symbols, Template, forms in EPLAN.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using EPLAN.
• Create and manage project structures including schematics, parts lists, terminal diagrams, cable diagrams, and PLC overview sheets.
• Generate automate reports such as Bills of Materials (BOM), terminal strip diagrams, and cable connection charts.
• Build and maintain EPLAN macro libraries and component master data for standardised and reusable design elements.
• Perform cross-referencing and used Find & Replace identifers to ensure consistency across multi-page schematics.
• Collaborated with mechanical and control teams to align electrical designs with project specications and customer requirements.
• Managed project imports, exports, and coordinated printing of documentation packages for client deliverables.
• Contributed to continuous improvement of documentation quality and design standardisation within the engineering team.
