Job summary

Tata Electronics Private Limited, a Tata Group venture, is building India's first AI-enabled state-of-the-art semiconductor foundry and will manufacture precision power management components, MCUs, and display drivers.

We are seeking engineers to lead reviews, manage installation, testing, commissioning and ensure safety, quality, cost, and regulatory compliance across substations, switchyards, panels, and distribution systems.

Responsibilities

• Engineering reviews and project execution from design stage through handover.
• Manage installation, testing, commissioning, and operational readiness activities.
• Coordinate with consultants, OEPC contractors, OEMs, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
• Review engineering deliverables, technical specifications, and vendor documentation.
• Drive technical resolution, progress monitoring, and stakeholder management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, cost, schedule, and statutory requirements.

Job description

Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.

Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engineering reviews and project execution from design stage through handover.

• PCC/MCC/PMCC Panels, Bus Ducts, HT/LT Distribution Systems
• UPS/DRUPS, DG/EDG, Protection & Metering Systems
• PLC, SCADA, HMI, SAS, PLCC, FOTE
• Building Management System (BMS)
• VESDA, CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling
• Fiber Optic Communication, SCADA Integration
