Job summary

Pinnacle in Madurai/Bengaluru is seeking an Electrical BIM Modeler to develop and coordinate electrical building services models using BIM software, ensuring compliance with project specs and client expectations. You will create detailed electrical layouts (power, lighting, fire alarm, ELV, grounding), perform clash detection with Navisworks, and collaborate with MEP, structural, and architectural teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4-10 years of Electrical BIM modeling experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP and BIM tools.
• Good understanding of electrical systems, codes and drafting standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Electrical BIM models using Revit and other BIM tools.
• Create detailed electrical layouts, including power, lighting, fire alarm, ELV, and grounding systems.
• Prepare construction drawings, shop drawings, and coordinated BIM models.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, and Architectural teams to resolve clashes and design conflicts.
• Perform clash detection and model validation using Navisworks or similar software.
• Ensure models comply with project specifications, BIM standards, and quality requirements.
• Extract schedules, quantities, and project documentation from BIM models.
• Participate in coordination meetings and support project delivery teams.
• Update and revise models based on design changes and client feedback.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical BIM Modeler to join our growing BIM team. The candidate will be responsible for creating, developing, and coordinating electrical building services models using BIM software while ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Electrical BIM models using Revit and other BIM tools.
• Create detailed electrical layouts, including power, lighting, fire alarm, ELV, and grounding systems.
• Prepare construction drawings, shop drawings, and coordinated BIM models.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, and Architectural teams to resolve clashes and design conflicts.
• Perform clash detection and model validation using Navisworks or similar software.
• Ensure models comply with project specifications, BIM standards, and quality requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 110 years of experience in Electrical BIM Modeling.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Good understanding of electrical systems, codes, and drafting standards.
• Experience in preparing electrical shop drawings and construction documentation.
• Knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on international projects (US, UK, Middle East, Australia, etc.).
• Familiarity with BIM execution plans (BEP) and BIM standards.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and other BIM-related software.
• Understanding of LOD requirements and project workflows.
