Job summary

Jai Hr Management Consultancy Services is seeking qualified candidates for the E&I Supervisor position based in Shekhan, Iraq. The role oversees installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and instrumentation within industrial facilities, ensuring safety and compliance while leading a team of technicians.

You will coordinate daily work, review QA/QC documents, perform field surveys, manage materials, and mentor staff to meet project deadlines and operational goals.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering field.
• Minimum 4 years experience in a supervisor role.
• 5–7 years direct Oil & Gas experience in E&I maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and field instrumentation.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent English; Kurdish or Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of E&I technicians and contractors.
• Oversee installation scopes, QA/QC documentation, and handover packages.
• Troubleshoot and repair control systems, sensors, and transmitters.
• Prepare field sketches, material takeoffs, and data sheets for cables and junction boxes.

Job Summary

The Electrical & Instrumentaon (E&I) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installaon, maintenance, and troubleshoong of electrical systems and instrumentaon equipment within industrial facilies. This role ensures that all electrical and control systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards and company policies. The supervisor leads a team of technicians, coordinates daily work acvies, and provides technical guidance to ensure project deadlines and operaonal goals are met.

Key Responsibilies

• Supervise daily acvies of E&I technicians and contractors.
• Oversee installaon scopes, QA/QC documentaon, handover packages, site surveys, cableworks, and miscellaneous electrical/instrumentaon tasks.
• Troubleshoot and repair control systems, sensors, and transmitters.
• preparaon of field sketches, material take off’s (MTO’s), preparing data sheets for cables,juncon boxes and misc.
• Manage E&I equipment, tools, and consumables to support site acvies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulaons and operaonal standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to opmize system performance.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to team members.

Qualificaons

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentaon, or related engineering field.
• Minimum Experience in supervisor role: 4 years
• Minimum direct Oil & Gas Experience: 5–7 years of experience in E&I maintenance
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, DCS, SCADA systems, and field instrumentaon.
• Experience in industrial electrical systems, motor controls, and power distribuon.
• Excellent English language skills required; Kurdish or Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schemacs.
• Excellent problem-solving and communicaon skills.
