Job summary

SV TRANS PRIVATE LIMITED in Hyderabad, India seeks a dedicated bus driver to transport passengers safely and efficiently on multiple routes while maintaining a clean vehicle and compliant with company policies.

The ideal candidate must hold a valid CDL with passenger endorsement, have a clean driving record, be able to work flexible hours including weekends, and pass drug and alcohol tests; prior bus driving experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with passenger endorsement required.
• Clean driving record with no accidents or violations.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a bus driver preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical health capable of lifting heavy objects.
• Drug and alcohol testing pass required.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.

• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Inspect the bus before and after each trip to ensure it is in good working condition
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus
• Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior
• Communicate with dispatch and other drivers as needed to coordinate routes and schedules
• Report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical problems to the appropriate authorities
• Attend training sessions and meetings as required

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Must possess a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger endorsement
• Clean driving record with no accidents or violations
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
