Job summary

VMC Soft Technologies, Inc is seeking an EIS Control System Solutions Engineer to lead wind turbine automation projects. The role requires 6–8 years of hands-on experience in control systems, including GE Mark VIe, ToolboxST, and SCADA, with strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols.

Responsibilities include configuring control parameters, testing at turbine sites, and remotely accessing SCADA servers for performance validation and upgrades.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of hands-on experience in wind turbine automation and control systems.
• Experience with GE Mark VIe, ToolboxST and SCADA.
• Knowledge of Profibus, Modbus, Fieldbus and TCP/IP.

Responsibilities

• Work on Wind Turbine Control applications.
• Install and test digital tools at wind turbine sites.
• Upgrade software and firmware including WindSCADA and TurbineCONTROL.
• Configure software and control parameters according to site requirements.
• Remotely access SCADA servers located at customer wind farms through GEV Third Party Rail Infrastructure.
• Run reports to validate turbine performance before and after software upgrades.
• Analyze technical data and provide recommendations to clients.
• Work independently and lead small teams focused on specific work streams.
