Job summary

Headcounts Hr is searching for a qualified professional capable of managing EHS systems effectively within construction and manufacturing sectors. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while leading various impactful projects including Solar Power and Oil & Gas initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a track record in handling heavy engineering and industrial EPC projects, with a strong emphasis on safety culture and proactive incident management.

Qualifications

• Experience in Factory Construction and Manufacturing Plant Projects.
• Proficiency in managing Solar Power and Wind Energy Projects.
• Knowledge of Industrial EPC and Heavy Engineering Projects.
• Experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical Projects.
• Understanding of Infrastructure and Large Construction Projects.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor project EHS management systems as per statutory and L&T standards.
• Ensure compliance with Factory Act, OSHA guidelines, and applicable EHS regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments, HIRA/JSA, safety audits, and site inspections.
• Drive safety culture through toolbox talks, safety trainings, and awareness programs.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; implement corrective actions.
• Monitor contractor safety performance and ensure compliance with permit-to-work systems.
• Manage emergency preparedness, firefighting systems, and evacuation drills.
• Ensure safe execution of heavy lifting, working at height, electrical works, confined space activities, and civil construction works.
• Maintain EHS documentation, statutory records, and regulatory compliance reports.
• Coordinate with project management, clients, contractors, and government authorities on EHS.
