Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Bengaluru, India, is seeking an EFR-Senior Financial Analyst for a hybrid role requiring ~2 days per week in an HPE office. You will support capital strategies and financial reporting to influence business decisions and drive ROI.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of financial analysis experience, a business or economics degree (CPA/MBA preferred), and strong Excel and GAAP knowledge.

• Consult with business leaders to guide and influence long-term and strategic decision-making within the broadest scope.
• Leads and advises on the most complex business initiatives, typically leading several analysts across multiple areas within finance and across geographies/organizations.
• Drives process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function globally.
• Provides mentoring and guidance to analysts.

Partners with the businesses to ensure that the capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company. Gathers financial data and performs financial analyses and reporting (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing, etc.) to influence decisions within the business and to drive cross-business initiatives (e.g., Mergers & Acquisitions). Communicates and drives adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the organization’s financial goals and policies. Has the fiduciary responsibility to represent financial results correctly both internally and externally. Ensures strong business controls.
