Job summary

Mercor is seeking an Education Expert to support the Sourcing Funnel on a contract basis. This role focuses on designing realistic educational scenarios, reviewing AI-generated outputs for accuracy and alignment with pedagogy, and creating educator-reasoning examples.

You will provide precise written feedback and collaborate asynchronously with the research team to enhance AI educational outputs. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in education, a bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in education (K-12 or higher-ed teaching, curriculum design, assessment, special education, tutoring, or related field).
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a subject-matter field.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Must-Have

Preferred

• A state teaching license/certification, National Board Certification, or an advanced degree ( MEd/EdD/PhD or a subject master's).
• Comfortable with classroom and instructional tools like Google Classroom , Canvas , and PowerSchool .
