Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems to meet energy efficiency, sustainability and code requirements per project needs.
• Perform load calculations, ducting and piping designs and ventilation calculations.
• Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC and local/international codes.
• Review layouts, schematics and control strategies for accuracy.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for design integration across disciplines.
• Conduct value engineering to optimize system efficiency and lifecycle costs.
• Provide technical support during construction, testing and commissioning.
• Support BOQ reconciliations and project documentation.
• Guide and develop departmental staff for growth.

Job description

• To do HVAC system design, ensure energy-efficient, sustainable, and code- compliant solutions aligned with Project requirements and interdisciplinary design objectives
• Knowledge on design of HVAC systems including load calculations, ducting design, piping design, Ventilation calculations, Life Safety systems and equipment selections
• Ensure design compliance with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC standards, Local & international codes
• Review and validate layouts, schematics, and system control strategies
• Coordinate with other stakeholders to ensure design integration
• Conduct value engineering to optimize system efficiency and lifecycle costs.
• Provide Technical support during construction, testing and commissioning
• Provide Technical support for BOQ reconciliations
• Guide & develop the team for the department growth
