Job summary

Rp Placement Services in New Delhi is seeking an Editorial Assistant to support publishing workflows and author/editor liaison. You will coordinate with authors, editors, translators and the typesetting team to ensure timely delivery of manuscripts and related agreements.

The role requires a BA (English Honors), a basic understanding of publishing processes, and at least two years of prior experience in editorial support.

Qualifications

• BA (English Honors).
• Basic understanding of the publishing process, including editorial workflows, and distribution of print and digital content.
• Min 2 year experience as Editorial Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Communicating and follow up with the Authors / Editors.
• Drafting & handling of Author / Publisher's agreements etc.
• Co‑ordinating with Typesetters, Proof Readers, Editors, Translators.
• Any other miscellaneious work related to publishing.
