The Assistant Editorial Manager supports the smooth execution of editorial and production workflows for academic books and content for classes 9th to 12th, CBSE ICSE, ISC, State Boards, NEET, CUET, NDA. The person should also be well versed with NEP 2020, NCF, Teaching pedagogies, FLN implementation in classes 1st to 8th, New NCERTs of Classes 1st to 8th and content development in the K TO 8TH GRADE segment. The role involves coordinating with authors, reviewers, editors, production teams, and vendors to ensure timely, high-quality, and ethically compliant publications.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Sciences, or related fields, 4–8 years of experience in academic or scholarly publishing. Strong understanding of peer review and editorial workflows.
Preferred Experience with Indian Academic authors or publishing houses and editorial boards. Familiarity with Copyright guidelines and publication ethics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and quality orientation. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent People management skills. Proficiency in manuscript Quality Analysis. Knowledge of style sheets and publishing design norms and ethics. Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
