Job summary

National Film Development Corporation of India, a Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is the central agency established to encourage the good cinema movement in the country. The primary goal of the NFDC is to plan, promote and organize an integrated and efficient development of the Indian film industry and foster excellence in cinema. Over the years NFDC has provided a wide range of services essential to the growth of Indian cinema. The NFDC (and its predecessor the Film Finance Corporation) has so far funded / produced over 300 films. These films, in various Indian languages, have been widely acclaimed and have won many national and international awards. The corporation invites application for the post of EDITOR CUM GRAPHIC DESIGNER with the following job details.

Educational Qualification:

Graduate with Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Animation or Visual Communication

Experience:

Minimum 3 years in video editing and graphic design, preferably for social media content

Job Responsibilities:

To edit video footage and design graphics, thumbnails and banners for social media posts; to create short-form videos and promotional creatives in line with the organisation's brand guidelines; to coordinate with the Photographer and Content Writer to finalise ready-to-post content.

Skills/ Areas of Knowledge:

Video editing software (Premiere Pro/After Effects/DaVinci Resolve); design tools (Photoshop/Illustrator/Canva); social media formats and aspect ratios; thumbnail and motion-graphics design

Remuneration:- Consolidated pay of Rs. 50,000/- per month.
