Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Film Production, Visual Arts or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience (2+ years) in video editing and graphic design.
• Proficiency in design software: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
• Proficiency in video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro or equivalent motion graphics/editing tools.
• Strong visual storytelling skills, ability to work with raw footage and turn into polished video pieces.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments, prioritize work and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit and produce high-quality video content for the university's marketing, social media, event highlights, course promos, guest lectures etc.
• Develop compelling graphic design assets (digital & print) including social-media creatives, banners, flyers, brochures, posters, event visuals, signage.
• Collaborate closely with the content team, marketing team, photography/videography team to ideate, storyboard and execute visual campaigns.
• Manage end-to-end video editing: assembling raw footage, applying transitions, motion graphics, text overlays, sound/music, color grading, export/optimization for platforms.
• Ensure consistency with brand guidelines (fonts, colors, templates, visual style) across design and video outputs.
• Stay updated with latest trends in video content, social-media formats, graphics and motion design.
• Maintain organized archives of design assets, footage, project files and render outputs.
• Deliver multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and ensuring high attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating short-form social media videos (Reels, TikTok style), motion graphics and animations.

• Basic knowledge of photography/videography (shooting, lighting, sound) is a plus.
• Portfolio or showreel demonstrating both graphic design and video editing work.
