Job summary

Wipro Limited is seeking an experienced Senior EDI/Informatica Developer to support a strategic EDI test automation and SAP migration initiative. The role involves SME-level understanding of end-to-end EDI processing across EDI, Informatica, and SAP systems, and collaboration with Test Automation and Integration teams.

Responsibilities include analyzing transaction flows, onboarding new EDI types, and developing scalable integration solutions using IICS/IDMC, CAI, CDI, and CDIR.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of B2B/EDI experience developing workflows and data mapping, preferably in Cloud+SaaS.
• Familiarity with EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, TRADACOMS) in consumer products or supply chain context.
• Experience with EDI transactions for Retail/Supply Chain (X12 850, 855, 856, 810; EDIFACT equivalents) and SAP IDOCs.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior EDI/Informatica Developer to support a strategic EDI Test Automation and SAP migration initiative. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical and functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for understanding, analysing, and documenting end‑to‑end EDI transaction processing across EDI, Informatica, and SAP systems. The candidate will work closely with the Test Automation Team, Business Analysts, and Integration Teams to enable business process understanding, trace transaction flows, establish data correlation mechanisms, support defect analysis, and facilitate successful automated validation of EDI transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and document end‑to‑end EDI transaction flows across trading partners, Informatica, and SAP systems.
• Understand existing integration architecture, mappings, workflows, and transformation rules.
• Explain business processes associated with EDI transactions and partner‑specific implementations.
• Support onboarding and analysis of new EDI transaction types and trading partners.
• Design, develop, document and manage scalable integration solutions for B2B/EDI transactions (e.g., X12 850, 810, and 856 and EDIFACT) and partner onboardings. This can include end‑to‑end SDLC functions from analysis to development to testing to deployment to hyper care. This can further include project management related aspects such as scope, schedule, and status for these integration solutions. With familiarity, supervise and lead teams to produce such integration solutions.
• Develop and maintain application and data integration platform workflows using Informatica Integration Cloud Solutions (IICS) and Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) with initial focus on B2B/EDI flows but will also include Cloud Application Integration (CAI), Cloud Data Integration (CDI), and Cloud Data Integration and Replication (CDIR). Support data quality, transformation, and mapping efforts across systems. This would also include scope, schedule, and status for these integration solutions.
• Review and maintain Informatica mappings, workflows, sessions, and dependencies. Analyse transformation logic and identify business validation rules. Troubleshoot mapping failures, data quality issues, and processing exceptions.
• Support Informatica performance optimization and monitoring activities.

Test Automation Enablement

• Collaborate with the Test Automation Team to identify automation opportunities and business validation checkpoints.
• Help define business equivalence rules between source EDI transactions and downstream SAP outputs.
• Identify unique correlation identifiers required for automation validation.
• Support creation of correlation logic between EDI files, Informatica processing, SAP IDocs, and application outputs.

Required Experience

• 8+ years of B2B/EDI experience developing workflows and data mapping – especially within Cloud+SaaS.
• Familiarity with EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, TRADACOMS) consumer products or supply chain context.
• Experience with EDI transactions for Retail/Supply Chain (Transactions such as X12 850, 855, 856, 810, and EDIFACT Equivalents).
• Experience with SAP and IDOCs in conjunction with Integration Solutions.
• Informatica integration and data platforms: IICS and/or IDMC, with modules such as: Business to Business (B2B), Cloud Application Integration (CAI), Cloud Data Integration (CDI), and Cloud Data Integration and Replication (CDIR).
• Experience with EDI for 3PL, Logistics and Transportation (Transactions such as X12 940, 945 and EDIFACT Equivalents).
• Experience in designing/performing large scale testing for both new processes and regression testing.
