About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Economist Analyst to support the economic evaluation, financial analysis, and investment planning of major road and highway infrastructure projects in Papua New Guinea.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate project costs, benefits, economic viability, and investment priorities.
• Develop economic models to assess project alternatives and investment options.
• Support feasibility studies and detailed design stages through economic evaluation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualifications in civil engineering or economics with specialization in transport economics
• Minimum 5 years' experience in conducting economic analysis of transport projects, preferably funded by MDBs.
• Male or female
• Good communication in English Language
