Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai seeks an experienced ECM Origination professional to identify and originate equity fundraising mandates, build promoters and market-participant relationships, and support new mandate acquisition.

The role requires 2–6 years in ECM, IB, or related markets, with strong business development and presentation skills to coordinate with execution teams for seamless mandates. Candidates with CA, MBA (Finance) or CFA will have an added advantage.

Qualifications

• 26 years of experience in ECM Origination, Investment Banking, Merchant Banking, Corporate Finance, or Capital Markets.

Responsibilities

• Source and originate IPO, SME IPO, Mainboard IPO, QIP, Rights Issue, Preferential Issue, and other equity fundraising mandates.
• Identify companies with capital raising requirements and build a strong origination pipeline.
• Build and manage relationships with promoters, founders, CXOs, Chartered Accountants, Merchant Bankers, Investment Bankers, Corporate Lawyers, Financial Advisors, and other ecosystem partners.
• Prepare pitch presentations and assist in client meetings.
• Track market activity and identify potential fundraising opportunities across sectors.
• Coordinate with internal execution teams for seamless transition of mandates.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced professional to join the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) Origination team. The role involves identifying and originating equity fundraising opportunities, building relationships with promoters and key market participants, and supporting the acquisition of new ECM mandates.

• Source and originate IPO, SME IPO, Mainboard IPO, QIP, Rights Issue, Preferential Issue, and other equity fundraising mandates.

Preferred Experience

Candidates from Merchant Banking firms, Investment Banks, Capital Market Advisory firms, or Corporate Finance teams will be preferred.
