Job Title: ECHO, ECG & TMT Technician

Location: MV Hospital for Diabetes, Royapuram, Chennai
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and patient-focused ECHO, ECG & TMT Technician to perform cardiac diagnostic procedures and assist doctors in providing accurate cardiac assessments for patients, particularly patients with diabetes and related cardiovascular risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform 12-lead ECG examinations and ensure proper electrode placement.
- Conduct TMT (Treadmill Test) as per the physician's instructions and hospital protocols.
- Perform 2D ECHO and Doppler ECHO procedures as required.
- Prepare patients and explain the procedures before conducting the tests.
- Monitor patients during TMT and immediately report any abnormal symptoms or changes to the doctor.
- Assist cardiologists/physicians during ECHO and other cardiac investigations.
- Ensure accurate recording and documentation of test results and patient details.
- Operate and maintain ECG, ECHO and TMT equipment properly.
- Ensure all equipment is clean, functional and ready for use.
- Follow infection-control, patient-safety and hospital protocols.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and provide courteous patient care.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses and other departments.
- Maintain daily investigation records and reports.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Department Head.
Eligibility
- Diploma / B.Sc. in Cardiac Care Technology / Cardiovascular Technology / Medical Laboratory or related allied health science qualification.
- Relevant experience in ECHO, ECG and TMT preferred.
- Candidates with hospital/diagnostic centre experience will be preferred.
- Freshers with relevant qualification may be considered based on skills and knowledge.
Skills Required
- Good knowledge of ECG, ECHO and TMT procedures.
- Ability to handle cardiac diagnostic equipment.
- Good patient-handling and communication skills.
- Ability to identify and promptly report abnormal findings during TMT.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Willingness to work in a hospital environment timing 8am-5pm
