Job summary

Deloitte Shared Services India in Chennai is seeking an experienced Oracle EBS SCM/Costing specialist with 8+ years in SCM Costing modules and at least 5 years in Oracle EBS. You will lead enhancements, implementations, and configurations, coordinating with cross-functional teams and delivering end-to-end solutions.

The role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills, with Oracle Manufacturing/Costing certification preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Oracle EBS SCM, MFG, and Costing modules.
• Drive system configuration, testing, and support within manufacturing and costing modules.
• Collaborate with finance, supply chain and operations to integrate processes with other Oracle modules.
• Conduct process workshops to gather requirements and design solutions.
• Oversee timelines, deliverables and resources to meet project scope and deadlines.
• Provide mentorship and KT to stakeholders and create documentation.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and support Oracle EBS SCM, MFG, and Costing related modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
• Added advantage to the candidate having the ability to lead the enhancement, implementation, and configuration of Oracle EBS SCM, MFG, and Costing related modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
• Deep understanding of following transactions:
  • Procurement landed cost and receipt accounting
  • MFG WIP costs (RM, Labor, OH, and others) tracking
  • Inventory transactions costing
  • OM-COGS recognition
  • Landed Cost Management (LCM)
• Experience on SLA accounting to create GL journal entries
• Any custom costing solution managed in past
• Drive system configuration, testing, and support activities, overseeing end-to-end processes within the manufacturing and costing modules.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, supply chain and operations, to integrate manufacturing and costing functionalities with other Oracle modules.
• Conduct process workshops to gather requirements, identify pain points, and design solutions that enhance manufacturing and costing workflows.
• Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation, ensuring adherence to project scope and deadlines.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
• Lead user training sessions, deliver knowledge transfer (KT) to stakeholders, and create detailed documentation for ongoing support.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance within Oracle EBS applications, performing audits and validations as required.
• Handle escalations and troubleshoot issues related to Oracle EBS Manufacturing and Costing to resolve complex problems efficiently.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education - Any Bachelors or Master’s Degree
• 8+ years of experience in Oracle EBS SCM Costing modules, with a minimum of 5 years in Oracle EBS.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and client-facing experience.
• Oracle certification in Manufacturing/Costing (preferred).
