Job summary

Deloitte Shared Services India is seeking a Senior Team Lead for ET&P Oracle with Oracle EBS Finance experience to lead a finance-focused team in Chennai. The role requires strong domain knowledge, leadership, and the ability to drive end-to-end configuration, testing and deployment of Oracle EBS Financials modules.

You will manage multiple projects, collaborate with global stakeholders, and guide analysts through training, documentation, and best practices to ensure accuracy and timely

Qualifications

• Experience leading Oracle EBS Financials projects, especially R12.
• Strong accounting knowledge across GL, AP, AR, FA and Taxation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
• Experience with tax setups for domestic and international structures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts, ensuring best practices and deadlines.
• Oversee design, configuration, and testing of Oracle EBS Financials modules.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver specs.
• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and address concerns.
• Lead user training sessions and produce user documentation.
• Stay updated on Oracle EBS updates and related tax regimes.

Senior Team Lead | ET&P Oracle | Oracle EBS Finance

Your work profile

• Education & Professional Certifications: Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, ICWA, MBA Finance, or equivalent professional accounting degree is highly preferred.
• Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
• Core Oracle Expertise: Minimum 5 years’ experience of managing and supporting Oracle EBS Financials (R12).
• Added advantage of full lifecycle implementation experience as a Lead/Manager.
• Accounting Domain Mastery: Deep, practical knowledge of general accounting principles, subledger reconciliation, consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and fixed asset lifecycles.
• Technical-Functional Bridge: Strong understanding of Oracle EBS underlying architecture, database schemas, interfaces/APIs, and the RICEFW development lifecycle.
• Taxation Frameworks: Proven experience configuring Oracle E-Business Tax (eB-Tax) for domestic and international tax structures.
• Methodologies: Added advantage of expert-level command over Oracle Unified Method (OUM) or Application Implementation Methodology (AIM).
• 5+ years of experience in Oracle EBS Financials with at least 2 years in a team lead role.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and reporting requirements.
• Excellent team lead, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
• Oracle EBS Financials certification is a plus.
• Costing (preferred).

• Subject matter expert to support Oracle EBS Financials modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, India Taxation, etc.).
• Added advantage to the candidate having the ability to lead the enhancement, implementation, and configuration of Oracle EBS Financials modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, India Taxation, etc.).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Manage and mentor a team of financial analysts, ensuring adherence to best practices and project deadlines.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and training opportunities for team members.
• Oversee the testing process, ensuring that all functionalities work as intended and meet business requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and addressing concerns.
• Facilitate user training sessions and create user documentation.
• Stay updated on Oracle EBS updates and enhancements and evaluate their impact on the organization.
