Job summary

ALPLA INC. in India is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operator for blow molding (EBM) processes in our facility near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. You will start and stop machines, perform process settings, monitor material control and ensure output meets specifications.

The role requires a Diploma or CIPET background and at least 2 years in EBM, with ability to coordinate across departments. We offer training, a challenging environment, and a dynamic team in an expanding region.

Qualifications

• Diploma/CIPET background preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in EBM.

Responsibilities

• Start/stop the machine and utility equipment.
• Perform process setting & monitoring.
• Monitor material control (weight distribution, regrind levels, watch tail lengths, etc.).
• Conduct regular quality control and visual checks.
• Record machine parameters and production details in the daily report.
• Record bottles packed details (pallet, batch, quantity) in production reports.
• Perform mold/color changes and preventive maintenance of molds.
• Maintain GMP & 5S and good housekeeping.
• Follow safety norms and report any deviation to senior.

• Start / Stop the machine and utility equipment.
• Performs process setting & monitoring.
• Monitor Material control (weight distribution, regrind levels, watch tail lengths, etc.)
• Performs regular quality control throughout the shift and visual quality checks
• Check & monitor process parameters like machine cycle time, mold cooling water temperature, compressed air pressure, process temperatures.
• Weigh waste material/ lumps and record in daily production report
• Ensures goods are produced in correct quantity and in accordance with agreed specifications
• Correctly record the details of bottles packed (pallet no., batch no, Qty. etc.) in the production report
• Report any deviation in the m/c operation or product to senior immediately.
• Perform mold change/color changes as needed.
• Maintain mold spare and perform preventive maintenance of molds.
• Maintain good housekeeping in and around the machine and within department.
• Follow all Safety norms and maintain shop floor discipline strictly.
• Maintain GMP & 5s as defined by management.
• Toolbox is checked regularly for condition of tools and quantity, to be restored immediately if required.
• Other duties assigned by management.
