Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of EI&C design experience in industrial environments such as pulp and paper, energy, or similar heavy industries.
• Proficiency in AVEVA E3D with focus on Electrical, Instrumentation, and Cable Routing modules.
• Solid understanding of electrical power distribution, instrumentation principles, control systems, and fieldbus technologies.
• Experience with international standards (IEC, ISA, NEC).
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and control narratives.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D models of EI&C equipment, cable trays, conduits, and supports using E3D software.
• Generate detailed 2D drawings, including wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, panel layouts, and installation details from the E3D model.
• Perform clash detection and interference checks for optimal equipment placement and cable routing.
• Collaborate with process, mechanical, and civil teams to integrate EI&C designs into the plant model.
• Prepare BOMs and material take-offs for EI&C components.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and project specs.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input to optimize EI&C solutions.
• Support project execution by responding to technical queries during construction and commissioning.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and proper version control.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing 3D models and associated documentation for EI&C systems within industrial projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integration.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D models of EI&C equipment, cable trays, conduits, and supports using E3D software.

• Generate detailed 2D drawings, including wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, panel layouts, and installation details, extracted from the E3D model.

• Perform clash detection and interference checks to ensure optimal equipment placement and cable routing.

• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (process, mechanical, civil) to integrate EI&C designs seamlessly into the overall plant model.

• Prepare Bills of Material (BOMs) and material take-offs for EI&C components.

• Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and project specifications.

• Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to optimize EI&C solutions.

• Support project execution by responding to technical queries and providing clarifications during construction and commissioning phases.

• Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure proper version control.

• Solid understanding of electrical power distribution, instrumentation principles, control systems, and fieldbus technologies.

• Experience with international engineering standards (e.g., IEC, ISA, NEC).

• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and control narratives.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
