Valmet is seeking a Plant Design Engineer in Maharashtra to support basic and detail engineering for global tissue mill projects. You will develop 3D models in Aveva E3D, prepare engineering modules, and contribute to safe, efficient delivery with documentation aligned to guidelines.
The role emphasizes collaboration with discipline leaders, site familiarity, and experience in plant engineering for industrial deliveries. Degree in mechanical engineering required.
Valmet Tissue sells and delivers Tissue mills to the global market. An important part of this is the Plant design engineering of the Mill where process design is converted into a virtual 3D-model. This virtual model is utilized to create manufacturing and installation drawings, quantification of sourcing need and coordination and input for civil engineering. Another important part of the Plant design is to ensure optimization of design and resource efficiency, operational functionality, access for installation and maintenance. And most importantly to enable safety during installation, operation and maintenance.
Plant Design Engineer shall assist our Discipline leaders for Plant for safe, efficient and successful execution of global Tissue mill projects.
The role of Plant Design Engineer is primarily active during basic and detail engineering in the project execution of delivery projects towards customers.
It also contains tasks that focus on development of engineering way-to-operate (WTO) and engineering modules. This is done in development projects or embedded in project execution of delivery projects towards customers.
