Job summary

World Bank Group in Chennai is seeking a dedicated IT professional for Retiree Portal Support. You will manage authentication, provisioning, onboarding, and monitoring, while building analytics reports and Power BI dashboards for efficient operations.

You will also assist with new product rollouts, testing, and documentation, collaborating across diverse teams in a fast-paced environment. This is a one-year local appointment based in Chennai.

Unit Context

The WBG Corporate Solutions Department (ITSCO) is focused on the digital transformation of essential corporate services to ensure WBG operations are seamless, resilient, and future ready. The Corporate Digital Backbone unit within ITSCO creates an autonomous digital backbone for the orchestration of data, transactions, processes, and insights across the diverse corporate portfolio, e.g. application modernization, technology debt reduction, efficient data exchange, advanced analytics, enterprise integration, automated business processes, and agentic-AI.

Duties and accountabilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Retiree Portal Support
• Manage user authentication
• Oversee account provisioning
• Provide account support and onboarding assistance
• Monitor system performance and develop analytics reports
• Support for New Product Rollouts
• Participate in both manual and automated testing
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Develop user guides
• Manage the Team SharePoint Site
• Maintain all contents up to date
• Remove clutter and organize materials for easy access
• Build Analytics Dashboard and Reports
• Build and enhance basic queries
• Assist the team to build Power BI and AI based analytics.

Selection Criteria

• Typically requires an Associate's degree or a recognized certificate with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Can effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders (technical and non-technical) at all levels.
• Experience in conducting product demo sessions with business stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work effectively within diverse teams, often in multi-location environments.
• Excellentorganizational skills and a strong commitment to meeting deadlineswithout requiring constant follow-up.
• Proactive self-starter capable of taking initiative with minimal supervision
• Highly results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving goals.

• SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification or equivalent is preferred.
