Job summary

SCT Water in Mumbai seeks an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to support detailed engineering, project execution, and technical documentation for EPC/Water Treatment projects.

The candidate will interpret P&IDs, prepare instrument and electrical datasheets, layouts, cable schedules, and ensure compliance with standards across MCCs, PDBs, VFDs, and control panels.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electrical or Instrumentation.
• Experience with EPC/Water treatment projects is preferred.
• Hands-on with MCC, PDB, VFD and control panels.
• Strong interpretation of P&ID and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Detailed engineering of electrical and instrumentation systems per project.
• Prepare datasheets for instruments, PLCs, valves, cables, MCCs, VFDs.
• Develop layouts and drawings: instrument JB, hook-up, cable tray, earthing.
• Ensure compliance with area classifications and industry standards.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to support detailed engineering, project execution, and technical documentation for EPC/Water Treatment projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in interpreting P&IDs, tender specifications, and industry standards, along with proven skills in preparing Instrumentation and electrical datasheets, layouts, cable schedules, and cable sizing. This role requires hands-on experience with electrical systems (MCC, PDB, VFD, control panels), instrumentation, and automation systems.
