Job summary

Altraize in Hyderabad, India is seeking a seasoned Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&O) Functional Consultant to lead end-to-end implementations. You will gather requirements, perform fit-gap analyses, and configure D365 F&O SCM and Finance modules to align with business needs.

Your role includes workshops, UAT, and end-user training, while partnering with technical teams on integrations and data migration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
• At least 5+ years working with Dynamics 365 Finance and/or Supply Chain Management implementations, including 3+ years specifically in a functional consultant or business analyst capacity.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders and leadership
• Perform Fit-Gap assessments and produce thorough Functional Design Documents (FDDs)
• Configure, test, and support D365 F&O SCM and Finance modules in line with business needs
• Facilitate workshops, CRP sessions, UAT, and end-user training
• Partner with technical teams on integrations, customizations, reports, and data migration work
• Assist with cutover planning, go-live execution, hypercare, and ongoing post-production support
• Keep projects on track by upholding timelines, quality benchmarks, and industry best practices
• Prepare functional specs, process flows, and configuration documentation to support knowledge transfer

Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM) Functional Consultant

About The Role

Currently hiring a seasoned Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&O) Functional Consultant to join our growing team. This position suits someone with strong D365 F&O module knowledge, solid understanding of business processes, and the capability to drive complex implementations end-to-end — from initial requirements gathering through post-go-live support. You'll partner closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership to deliver solutions that create real business impact.

What You'll Do

• Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders and leadership
• Perform Fit-Gap assessments and produce thorough Functional Design Documents (FDDs)
• Configure, test, and support D365 F&O Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Finance modules in line with business needs
• Facilitate workshops, Collaborative Requirements Planning (CRP) sessions, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and end-user training
• Partner with technical teams on integrations, customizations, reports, and data migration work
• Assist with cutover planning, go-live execution, hypercare, and ongoing post-production support
• Keep projects on track by upholding timelines, quality benchmarks, and industry best practices
• Prepare functional specs, process flows, and configuration documentation to support knowledge transfer

Required Supply Chain Expertise

• Procurement and sourcing processes and setup
• Inventory management and optimization
• Product Information Management (PIM)
• Advanced Warehouse Management, including:
• Order-to-cash (sales and marketing) processes
• Inventory costing and closing processes
• Warehouse configuration and setup

Required Finance Expertise

• General Ledger (GL) setup and administration
• Accounts Payable (AP) processes and controls
• Accounts Receivable (AR) operations
• Fixed Assets (FA) management and depreciation
• Cash and bank management
• Budgeting and financial reporting
• Month-end and year-end close processes
• Financial dimensions and account structures
• Intercompany accounting
• Tax setup and compliance

Nice-to-Have SCM Skills

• Transportation Management (TMS)
• Master planning and demand forecasting

Core Skills & Competencies

• Solid grasp of D365 F&O business processes and configuration, with hands-on experience implementing and/or supporting Finance and SCM modules
• Experience with the Data Management Framework (DMF) — data migration, templates, bulk operations
• Familiarity with Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, reporting)
• Comfort working within Agile/Scrum frameworks, including sprint planning
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships independently, including with senior leadership
• Strong documentation skills for functional specs and process materials
• Clear communicator, able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and/or SCM certification(s) (MB-300, MB-310, MB-320, or equivalent)
• Experience with global, multi-company/multi-entity implementations
• Power BI reporting and analytics exposure
• Power Automate experience for workflow automation
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for tracking and collaboration
• Presales experience — solution estimation, RFP responses
• Industry background in manufacturing, distribution, or retail

Education
