Job summary

sa.global is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O SCM Consultant with over 8 years of functional consulting experience. The consultant will lead the transformation of fragmented ERP systems for a global manufacturing client, ensuring alignment with local and global processes.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and results‑oriented Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O SCM Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with key business stakeholders of a manufacturing client that operates globally, transforming fragmented legacy ERP systems into a unified and harmonised platform. The work focuses on leading phased wave rollouts, aligning local processes with the global model, training SMEs, coordinating implementation streams, and providing guidance throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead workshops with SME, business owners and super users to align the global solution template with local business processes.
• Ensure adequate comprehension of the solution, its envisioned benefits, and adoption of standardised processes by business users.
• Document decisions on process mappings, required changes, and impacts, keeping the solution documentation in sync with other modules.
• Configure core D365 F&O SCM modules such as Mixed‑mode Manufacturing, Production Control, Production Reporting, Shop Floor Management, Capability and Resource Scheduling, Product Information Management, BOM Management, Route Management, Master Planning, Inbound Consignment, Demand Forecasting, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management (basic & advanced), Mobile Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, Procurement & Sourcing, Sales Order Management, Quality Management, Asset Management, Planning Optimization, and Reporting & Analytics (Power BI).
• Collaborate closely with architects, functional teams, technical teams, configuration, testing (SIT, E2E, Regression) and data migration specialists to ensure seamless integrations and data accuracy.
• Provide comprehensive training to key SMEs, role‑based and scenario‑based training aligned to UAT, and support end users during User Acceptance Testing.
• Support Cutover, Go‑Live, Hyper‑care and hand‑over to ongoing support.

Key Requirements

• Experience: 8+ years of hands‑on functional consulting experience in Microsoft D365 F&O.
• Project Lifecycle: Demonstrated involvement in at least 3–4 full life‑cycle D365 F&O implementation projects.
• Functional Knowledge: Deep understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain processes across multiple industries, preferably in Manufacturing (Process and Discrete).
• Tools: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS), Microsoft Power BI, Power Platform and Power Apps.
• Integrations: Exposure to ISV integration (e.g., treasury, tax, trade compliance, Docentric, EDI).
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem‑solving, and client‑facing communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Preferred Qualifications – Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Preferred Qualifications – Certifications: Active Microsoft certification in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (e.g., Exam MB‑335).
