Job summary

HSBC is seeking an Associate Director, Solution Architecture to define end-to-end CRM platform architectures, including microservices and AI-enabled capabilities. You will own architecture artefacts, drive API contracts and data flows, and ensure production-ready delivery across CRM and integration ecosystems.

You will lead integration across CRM, legacy systems and third-party vendors while advancing AI architectures, CI/CD readiness, and observability.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Azure cloud services (Functions, APIM, Service Bus, Application Insights) and integration patterns.
• Expertise in AI engineering including Azure OpenAI, RAG design, prompt engineering, and model evaluation.
• Proven experience designing CRM integration architectures with APIs, event-driven patterns, and workflow orchestration.
• Strong software engineering background in .NET/Python, microservices, testing, and performance optimisation.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices.
• Expertise in observability and production readiness (monitoring, SLAs/SLOs, resilience testing).
• Understanding of cross-cloud architecture including GCP Vertex AI and multi-cloud considerations.
• Strong stakeholder communication, problem-solving, and ability to drive architecture decisions across teams.
