Job summary

Valuable Consulting And Technologies in Gujarat seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer with 6-10 years' experience to strengthen inspection, measurement, and supplier quality management.

You will work with engineering, SCM and manufacturing teams, review PPAP, ISIR, QAP documents, and drive CAPA and 8D problem solving.

Hands-on testing with CMM, roundness, surface roughness, hardness testers, GD&T knowledge, and travel to supplier sites are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspection and measurement of sheet metal, fabrication, machined, bought-out, and assembly components.
• Preparation and review of measurement protocols and inspection reports.
• Verification of customer-specific quality requirements.
• Handling supplier quality issues and claims.
• Follow-up and verification of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support supplier qualification, evaluation, and development activities.
• Participate in supplier audits and ensure closure of audit findings.
• Preparation and review of Quality Assurance Plans (QAP).
• Review of PPAP, ISIR, and related quality documentation.
• Maintenance of inspection records and quality documentation.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis using 5Why, Fishbone, 8D, etc.
• Drive supplier quality improvement initiatives.
• Support reduction of supplier PPM and repeat quality issues.
• Work closely with Engineering, SCM, Manufacturing, Project Management, and Suppliers for quality-related topics.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspection and measurement of sheet metal, fabrication, machined, bought-out, and assembly components.
• Preparation and review of measurement protocols and inspection reports.
