Job summary

Xceedance is seeking an experienced Duck Creek Policy Developer to implement, configure, and enhance policy administration solutions for the P&C domain. You will work closely with business analysts, architects, and other development teams to deliver scalable Duck Creek configurations and integrations.

The role requires hands-on Duck Creek Policy development, active delivery experience preferred, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work setup in India.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of P&C insurance processes and policy administration.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, and enhance solutions on the Duck Creek Policy platform.
• Work on policy administration functionalities across the policy lifecycle.
• Translate business requirements into technical configurations and solutions.
• Develop and maintain business rules, workflows, validations, and product configurations.
• Configure and customize Duck Creek Policy based on business requirements.
• Support integration of Duck Creek Policy with upstream and downstream applications.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes.
• Participate in code/configuration reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with analysts, QA, architects, and other teams throughout delivery.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Duck Creek Policy Developer with strong hands-on experience in Duck Creek Policy implementation, configuration, and development. The candidate will work closely with business analysts, architects, and other development teams to deliver scalable policy administration solutions for the P&C insurance domain.

Hands-on experience with Duck Creek Policy with Active Delivery would be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, and enhance solutions on the Duck Creek Policy platform.


• Work on policy administration functionalities across the insurance policy lifecycle.


• Translate business and functional requirements into technical configurations and solutions.


• Develop and maintain business rules, workflows, validations, and product configurations.


• Configure and customize Duck Creek Policy based on business requirements.


• Support integration of Duck Creek Policy with upstream and downstream applications.


• Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement appropriate fixes.


• Participate in code/configuration reviews, testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.


• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, architects, and other technical teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.


• Ensure solutions follow development standards, coding practices, and project guidelines.

• Strong experience with Duck Creek Policy configuration and development.


• Good understanding of P&C Insurance / General Insurance concepts and policy administration processes.

• Experience across multiple P&C insurance products or lines of business.


• Exposure to Agile/Scrum-based delivery environments.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Duck Creek Policy development experience, a solid understanding of P&C insurance processes, and the ability to independently handle configuration and development requirements. Policy with Active Delivery experience will be an added advantage but is not mandatory.
