Job summary

Coforge Limited is seeking an experienced Duck Creek Policy QA + Automation Tester in Mumbai to lead a QA team and drive delivery of Duck Creek solutions. You will partner with architects, perform solutioning, coding, and automated testing, and ensure quality across modules and timelines.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of Duck Creek products (4.x–7.x) and strong experience in manuscript coding, API usage, and related scripting tools.

Qualifications

Duck Creek Policy QA + Automation Tester

Years of Experience: 5 to 7 years

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Duck Creek Policy QA + Automation Tester with extensive experience in policy administration and development delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a QA team, collaborating with application architects, and ensuring the successful implementation of Duck Creek solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of Duck Creek products and a proven track record in managing technical delivery and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the QA team in task assignment and progress tracking.
• Collaborate with the application architect for solution approach, design, and estimation.
• Perform solutioning, coding, unit testing, and code reviews.
• Assist the development team with manuscript, integration, automation coding, and configuration.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Identify scope changes, estimate additional efforts, and manage change control sign-offs.
• Facilitate communication between clients and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Utilize version control systems (TFS, SVN, GitHub) for branch and repository creation.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts to ensure product quality.
• Conduct performance and regression testing to validate system functionality.

Mandatory Skills:

• Deep understanding of Policy Administration and peripheral system development using Duck Creek.
• Experience with Duck Creek product versions 4.x, 5.x, 6.x, 7.x, or latest.
• Hands-on experience with DCOD, Anywhere API, Native API, and Express 3.
• Proficient in manuscript inheritance and group structure design.
• Experience in Composed Requirements and Complex XSLT.
• Expertise in manuscript coding and configuration on DCT Pages, Rating, Forms, Transact, UW Rules, Referrals, Workflow, Rating Control, User Admin, Express, and Server.
• Familiarity with DCT debugging tools (TraceMonitor, ExampleUtil, TSV, Data Tester).
• Experience in integrating with third-party or internal systems.
• Proficient in SQL Server stored procedures and XQueries.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of the insurance domain and AI usage, including GitHub Copilot.
• Strong communication and team handling/mentoring skills.
• Experience working in an Agile software development life cycle.

Qualifications:

• B.Tech/B.E. in any specialization or equivalent.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in Duck Creek Policy.
