Job summary

s d fiNE CHEM (SDFCL) is seeking a skilled graphic designer to design, update, and maintain product labels, export labels, price lists, and marketing materials. You will coordinate with Sales to ensure accuracy and timely updates using BarTender, CorelDRAW, and Adobe InDesign.

Ideal candidates have 5-8 years in graphic design in the chemical sector, proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator, and strong attention to detail for print-ready files and version control.

Qualifications

• Any graduate with Diploma or certifications in graphic design.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in the chemical industry.
• Experience in product label design, export labels, packaging artwork, product catalogues, price lists, and marketing materials within the chemical industry.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and amend product labels using BarTender Automation software.
• Ensure product labels contain accurate product details and incorporate all approved changes.
• Maintain consistency in label layouts, formatting, and design standards.
• Prepare export product labels using BarTender Automation or CorelDRAW.
• Customize label designs according to export customer requirements and approved specifications.
• Ensure the accuracy of product information and customer-specific label details.
• Maintain and update abridged price lists in Microsoft Excel based on price revisions from Sales.
• Assign appropriate version numbers to revised price lists and distribute updates to the Sales team.

Responsible for designing, creating, updating, and maintaining product labels, export labels, price lists, product catalogues, packaging artwork, and marketing materials. The role requires proficiency in graphic design software, attention to detail, and coordination with the Sales team to ensure the accuracy and timely updating of designs and product information.

Experience

• 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in the chemical industry.
• Experience in product label design, export labels, packaging artwork, product catalogues, price lists, and marketing materials within the chemical industry.
• Familiarity with chemical product information, label specifications, and customer-specific export labeling requirements is desirable.

Responsibilities:-

1. Product Label Design and Maintenance

• Create, update, and amend product labels using BarTender Automation software.
• Ensure product labels contain accurate product details and incorporate all approved changes.
• Maintain consistency in label layouts, formatting, and design standards.

2. Export Label Preparation

• Prepare export product labels using BarTender Automation or CorelDRAW.
• Customize label designs according to export customer requirements and approved specifications.
• Ensure the accuracy of product information and customer-specific label details.

3. Abridged Price List Management

• Maintain and update abridged price lists in Microsoft Excel based on price revisions received from the Sales team.
• Assign appropriate version numbers to revised price lists.
• Distribute updated price lists to the Sales team and maintain revision records.

4. Product Catalogues and Annual Price Lists

• Prepare annual abridged price lists for chemicals and instruments using Adobe InDesign.
• Create product catalogues containing product details and specifications once every three years or as required.
• Incorporate approved changes to product information, pricing, and specifications.

5. Marketing and Corporate Material Design

• Create new designs and revise existing artwork for product leaflets, promotional materials, visiting cards, letterheads, invoices, and carton packaging.
• Use CorelDRAW or Adobe InDesign according to project requirements.

6. Exhibition and Promotional Materials

• Design exhibition banners and promotional materials using CorelDRAW or Adobe InDesign.
• Ensure designs align with exhibition stall layouts, branding guidelines, and event-specific requirements.

7. Artwork Revision and Quality Control

• Incorporate all approved amendments into product labels, price lists, catalogues, and marketing materials.
• Review artwork for accuracy, spelling, formatting, product information, and design consistency.
• Ensure the latest approved versions are used for printing and distribution.

8. File Management and Version Control

• Maintain organized digital files of product labels, artwork, catalogues, price lists, and marketing materials.
• Maintain proper revision records and version control.
• Ensure approved files are easily accessible for future revisions and reference.

Preferred candidate profile

• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of product label design, packaging artwork, and print-ready file preparation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling product information and price revisions.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Good coordination and communication skills for working with the Sales team and other internal departments.
• Ability to maintain organized files and manage document revisions effectively.
