Job summary

Noventis Pvt. Ltd. in Pune is seeking a Drone Engineer to design, integrate, simulate, and test autonomous drone systems. You will work with PX4/ArduPilot, MAVLink, and mission planning to deliver reliable aerial capabilities.

Responsibilities include SITL/HITL simulation, integrating sensors and payloads, implementing ROS2 middleware, and coordinating with external orchestration platforms for multi-drone operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on UAV/drone systems experience with PX4/ArduPilot.
• Strong with MAVLink/MAVSDK communication and mission planning.
• Proficient in C++/Python and ROS2 middleware.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate drones systems using PX4/ArduPilot.
• Work with MAVLink for telemetry and vehicle comms.
• Develop and test autonomous flight missions and workflows.
• Integrate drones with APIs and external orchestration platforms.
• Work with SITL/HITL simulations before field deployment.
• Integrate sensors, GPS/GNSS, cameras, telemetry, and payloads.
• Develop drone control and monitoring components.
• Work with ROS2 and robotics middleware where required.
• Support multi-drone/swarm orchestration.
• Analyze flight logs and troubleshoot navigation, comms, and control issues.
• Document system architecture, configurations, APIs, and test procedures.
