HLFPPT operates Mobile Medical Units across districts, requiring a driver with a valid license and experience in operating utility vehicles. The role involves supporting MMU setups, coordinating with medical staff, and ensuring safe movement of equipment through rural and urban terrain.

The driver must maintain the vehicle, observe road safety protocols, and report issues promptly. This position is based in Bihar and requires readiness to work long hours as per MMU schedules.

Qualifications

• Valid LMV / Transport driving license (as per state norms).
• Experience in driving utility vehicles (MMU preferred).
• Safe and defensive driving skills in rural, urban, and difficult terrains.
• Ability to drive for long hours as per MMU route plan.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance (oil, coolant, tyre, battery checks).
• Ability to identify and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Ensuring vehicle cleanliness, hygiene, and readiness daily.
• Compliance with road safety rules and MMU safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Timely reporting at designated locations as per MMU schedule.
• Coordination with Medical Officer, Nurse, and Pharmacist.
• Assisting in setting up MMU (steps, power, basic arrangements).
• Safe handling of medical equipment during movement.
