Job description

We are hiring for Mobile Medical Clinic (MHC) driver. Responsibilities include:

• Ensure the complete cleaning & maintenance of Mobile Medical Clinic from inside and outside.
• Ensure and fulfill fuel requirement and other necessary requirements of MHC.
• Drive and park safely.
• Reach & leave timely from FSDP.
• Maintain the Log-Book and verified to Medical Officer at time to time.
• Immediate inform to concern supervisor regarding any support.
• The responsibilities goes to drivers for any type of the scratch, damage & stolen of equipment from MHC.
• Submission of the monthly time sheet to Project Coordinator timely.

Core Driving & Safety Skills

• Safe and defensive driving of Mobile Medical Unit vehicles
• Ability to drive long distances in rural and remote areas
• Knowledge of traffic rules, road safety norms, and vehicle regulations
• Handling emergency driving situations responsibly

Technical & Vehicle Management Skills

• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
• Daily vehicle inspection (fuel, oil, brakes, tyres, battery, lights)
• Coordination for periodic servicing and repairs
• Maintaining vehicle logbook, fuel records, and trip sheets

Operational & Field Support Skills

• Supporting MMU route planning and timely movement
• Setting up MMU at service locations (parking, power, accessibility)
• Assisting MMU team during OPDs and health camps
• Ensuring cleanliness and readiness of vehicle and equipment

Compliance & Safety Skills

• Adherence to biomedical waste transportation guidelines
• Maintaining hygiene and safety standards inside the MMU
• Compliance with project, donor, and organizational protocols
