Job summary

PI Industries Ltd is seeking a Draughtsman in the Technology Transfer department in Udaipur. The role focuses on preparing PFDs, PIDs, plan and elevation layouts, equipment GA, piping ELDs, and isometrics, with 3D modeling using Plant 3D and PDMS.

The candidate should have a Diploma in Mechanical Drafting and 3–5 years of drafting experience in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, PDMS and Smart Plant PID, with familiarity in Visio for process diagrams.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Drafting
• 3–5 years drafting experience in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, PDMS and Smart Plant PID.
• Experience in Plant 3D and PDMS preferred.

Position Purpose

The Position will be responsible for making the proper PFD, PID, and Plan and elevation Layout of plant. This would include also the GA drawing of equipments, Piping ELDs, Piping GA, Layout and Isometric of piping.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Basic work for document transfer schedule for new projects being commercialised to meet the timeline.
• Participation in the meetings & provide inputs as & when required by Dept. head.

Operational Responsibilities

• Drafting of PFD based on BFD.
• Drafting of flawless PIDs
• Plan and elevation layout of plant.
• Preparation of equipment GA.
• Drafting of piping ELDs.
• Piping GA, layout and Piping Isometrics.
• 3D Model based on Plant 3D and PDMS.
• Basic structural GA drawing.

Financial Responsibilities

• Provide data to HOD for hiring DE Farm.
• Contribute to plant and piping layout

People Responsibilities

• To attend training programs for draftsman.
• Provide drafting training to junior people.
• Continuously improve processes to ensure for better quality engineering.
• Participate in selection of highly skilled draftsman

Work Experience

3 Yrs. to 5 Yrs. In Drafting in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, PDMS and Smart Plant Platform/Visio
