Sobha Ltd. is seeking a skilled Drafting Engineer to prepare and update Factory GA and detailed 2D/3D layouts. You will develop equipment/workstation layouts, material-flow drawings and utility routes, while maintaining revision control and coordinating with engineers and vendors.

The role requires precise drawing standards, coordination of MEP and civil details, and the ability to adapt layouts as equipment changes occur on site.

Formación

• Proficient in 2D CAD drafting and layouts.
• Experience with factory GA drawings and detailed layouts.
• Ability to draft equipment/workstation layouts.
• Experience with material-flow and utility-routing drawings.
• Maintain drawing revision control and as-built docs.
• General understanding of planning and scheduling.
• Maintain drawing registers and document coordination.
• Integrate MEP and civil details in coordinated drawings.

Responsabilidades

Prepare, revise and maintain accurate factory engineering drawings under the direction of the Factory Engineering team. The role supports development of factory GA drawings, equipment/workstation layouts, material-flow drawings and utility-routing layouts, ensuring drawings remain coordinated and current throughout project execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

• Prepare and update the Factory General Arrangement (GA) and detailed layouts in 2D and 3D.
• Develop equipment and workstation layout drawings based on approved engineering inputs.
• Prepare material-flow and utility-routing drawings.
• Incorporate design revisions and maintain drawing revision control.
• Prepare as-built drawings based on verified site information and approved changes.
• Coordinate drawing inputs with engineers, project teams and equipment vendors.
• Maintain drawing registers, file structures and controlled engineering documentation.
• Support layout updates arising from equipment changes, process improvements and site conditions.
• Ensure drawing dimensions, annotations, layers and title-block information are clear and consistent
