Job summary

ScopeHR Services in Chennai seeks a skilled Draftsman proficient in AutoCAD for 2D designs and detailing on construction projects. You will prepare layouts and detailed drawings, coordinate with civil, structural, and electrical teams, and ensure accurate, compliant deliverables for execution.

Knowledge of DTCP/CMDA norms, CMDA approvals, and FMB sketches is essential, along with experience merging multiple sketches, colour-coding drawings, and maintaining records of design changes and meeting

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D designs and detailing.
• Experience with CAD systems for DTCP & CMDA approvals.
• Familiarity with colour coding of DTCP & CMDA drawings.
• Exposure in combining of FMB sketches.
• Knowledge of CMDA/DTCP norms for layouts.
• Experience merging multiple FMB sketches.
• Strong detailing skills for construction and architectural drafting.
• Ability to prepare technical reports, design basis, specifications, and drawings.
• Coordinate with civil, structural and electrical teams; attend meetings and maintain change records.
• Liaise with Architects, Consultants, Vendors for drawing collection and sharing.

Job description

Proficiency in AutoCAD for preparing 2D designs and detailing / modifying technical drawings for construction Projects.

Experience with CAD systems for DTCP & CMDA approvals

Familiarity with colour coding of DTCP & CMDA drawings and exposure in combining of FMB sketches.

Knowledge of latest CMDA / DTCP norms for Layouts and Buildings and prepare Layouts in such a way to maximise the use of land parcel.

Experience working with FMB sketches and merging multiple FMB sketches.

Strong detailing skills for construction and architectural drafting works

Skilled in Preparing technical reports, Design Basis, specifications, and drawings

Collaborate with civil, structural, and primary electrical teams for project execution

Attend External / Internal meetings and review sessions for modifications, changes in the drawings and keep records for all engineering changes

Coordinate with Architects, Consultants, Vendors, etc for collection of drawings and sharing it for execution.

Monitor schedules and ensure timely delivery of design packages to the execution team.
