Lohia Worldspace seeks a CAD drafter to produce detailed architectural, civil, and structural drawings using AutoCAD. The role involves coordinating with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, and project engineers to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of drawings.

You will develop floor plans, elevations, sections, layouts, and execution drawings, and prepare shop and as-built drawings as required while reviewing drawings for compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD 2D for drafting, detailing, layers, blocks, Xrefs, and layouts.
• Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and civil construction drawings.
• Experience on residential, commercial, high-rise, or large-scale real estate projects.
• Knowledge of construction detailing, building materials, and execution methods.
• Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings independently.
• Familiarity with SketchUp, Revit, or other design software is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, coordination, and time management.

Role & responsibilities

1. AutoCAD Drafting: Prepare detailed architectural, civil, structural, and working drawings using AutoCAD.
2. Drawing Coordination: Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, and project engineers to ensure accurate drawings.
3. Construction Drawings: Develop and modify floor plans, elevations, sections, layouts, and detailed execution drawings.
4. Shop & As-Built Drawings: Prepare shop drawings, GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, and as-built drawings as per site requirements.
5. Drawing Review: Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, specifications, and compliance with project requirements.
6. Design Modifications: Incorporate design changes, site feedback, and technical revisions into drawings.
7. Site Coordination: Work closely with project execution teams to resolve drawing-related issues and technical discrepancies.
8. Documentation: Maintain drawing registers, revision records, drawing files, and proper documentation.
9. Quantity Support: Assist in area calculations, quantity take-offs, and preparation of technical details wherever required.
10. Project Delivery: Ensure timely preparation and submission of drawings to support construction schedules.

Preferred candidate profile
